Welcome To
The Igbo Cultural Association of Saskatchewan (ICAS)
ICAS was established in 2001 with the aim of uniting all members in the province that share our common beliefs and also to promote Igbo culture in our society. ICAS has made large strides since it’s inception and this resulted in the launching of our very own Masquerade dance group in 2002.
Within the community ICAS is engaged in charities and donations. As members of a very diverse dialect we also run our language school to ensure our youths are not too distant from our culture.
Subsequently, efforts have been made to have seminars and workshops to enlighten the public as to the similarities between cultures.
This Web site is structured with the aim of providing viewers with general information of our history, past events, current members and all upcoming events taking place in the province. For more information about ICAS and if you have any questions or would like to get in contact with an ICAS representative, email us at info@icassask.ca.

Message from the President
The Igbo Cultural Association of Saskatchewan (ICAS) was established in 2001 with the aim of uniting all members in the province that share a common belief. We believe in promoting the Igbo language and culture in our society. ICAS has made large strides since it’s inception and this resulted in the launching of our very own Igbo Language and Cultural School in 2002, where our dedicated teachers teach our children how to speak Igbo every Sunday.
Within the larger community, ICAS is engaged in charities and donations. We organize a series of yearly events, including seminars and workshops, to enlighten the public as to the similarities between cultures. For more information about ICAS and if you have any questions or would like to get in contact with an ICAS representative, e-mail us at info@icassask.ca.
Thank you.
